Studio visit.
For those who couldn't make it Sunday.
I took pictures while the studio is still more or less in order.

Hrag took great pictures of the Northside Art  Festival, including our studios, and others in our building.

Open Studio

Lori and I are participating in the Northside Open Studios, a kind of neighborhood garage sale carnival, Sunday, June17, from noon to six. Several other artists' studios in the building will also be open.

We are on the sixth floor of 315 Berry, between South 3rd and 4th.

Here is what is happening on one of my walls.

One of my pieces will be in a group show during Bushwick Open Studios.
I have a piece in the Starr Space show curated by Fred Valentine this weekend.
I had to take this piece to Fred yesterday. I had put it in a black trash bag but realized the NYPD would interfere when I got on a train. It looked like I had 5 shotguns in the bag. So I carried it through the
Southside to Marcy Avenue onto an M train to Ridgewood. It was a happening, a performance, the Stations of the Cross, and I got a lot of curious, suspicious, looks in those Catholic neighborhoods.
